Sacred Wandering
“If we truly believe that God is Creator, then we must believe that creation has something to teach us about the Creator.” — Barbara Brown Taylor
Sometimes the most sacred encounters happen under open skies, beside quiet streams, or along a forest trail. Sacred Wandering is a hiking ministry that invites us to meet God in nature and community—step by sacred step.
We meet on the first Saturday of each month, typically at 9:00 AM at the trailhead, unless noted otherwise. Most hikes are in the easy-to-moderate range, usually between 3 to 5 miles, and take place throughout West Tennessee with occasional adventures farther afield.
This isn’t a fitness program or a race. It’s an invitation to slow down, reconnect with your spirit, and walk alongside others seeking grace, peace, and deeper community.
Whether you’re new to hiking or already lacing up your boots, there’s space for you on the path.
Come wander with us.
The trail is sacred, and so is the journey.
